Here's a question.... I had ARP headstuds installed a little over 6 months/6k miles ago. Should I pull my valve cover and recheck the torque? If so, when rechecking the torque should I just put the torque wrench on to tighten, or should I loosen them all a quarter turn then retighten? Or loosen them one at a time in the proper torque sequence and retighten?

Be sure to put the lube on the base of the nuts and the washers as well. This will help to get a more accurate torque.

I torqued mine to the recommended 65/70 ft-lbs and after about 3k - 5k miles it started to leak. Replaced with HKS 1.0mm gasket and retorqued using a 3 step method 70-80-90, and it didn't leak ever again.
