This is the kind of feed back I'm lookin for! anyone else with that kind of info? help a noob out

There is no need to waste money on an intake at this time. If you havent already done so there are many other mods in the same price range that would give you much more performance.
what other mods do you suggest then? I'm lookin for entry level stuff.

Anyone have any feedback on the Buschur Racing kit? Every other thing I have read about BR was good, is it the same here??

I think HKS RS is the best then helix and BR. DONT GET A K&N TYPHOON!! I had one and it sucked, I replaced it with the HKS RS and it works great!

I second that. Pretty loud, but a great deal with the upper pipes, bolts right in

I have the stock airbox with the K&N drop in and that works really great!

I bought an RMR cone filter without the hard pipe and although it sounded great, I took it off after about a week. The low end on my "un-tuned" car sucked! It felt like the car was trying hard to go in the low end. You can see the rpms rising from 2-4K but you don't feel the "push" back like the stocker has. The high end had some nice torque around 60-80mph, but I'd rather keep the stocker for now until I get a reflash for it or something. It did sound great! You can hear the stock BOV quite nicely.

I will try to put the filter back in for some more testing, once I get the dp and HF cat in, to see if it makes any kind of difference. But for now, i'll save my money for the future reflash or tune.

btw... I had NO stalling or idle problems with the RMR filter at all. So that's a plus.

HKS RS intake is one of the best, however it and the BR pipe have the same MAF pipe design so i say go for the BR you can get it alot cheaper and you can have it powdercoated black or get it polished or ceramic, they have a few options to suit your bling taste.

The thing with the HKS is that its a foam filter. This is actually the first forum where I have read anything good about one.

Does everyone notice a loss in low end torque with an intake?

Go with Bushur kit. The new single bend pipe does not have the idle problems the old one had.

Injen... have zero issue's... fit and finish is top notch... plus actually noticed a bump in power... and if you want sound, you'll have it with the stock bov even... and it's nice that it includes an upper ic pipe as well... no worries about matching "x" intake to fit with "z" ic piping... their website has some dyno's on it there... I've used Injen products on a couple of my car's now, and not once had an issue... i've installed them on friend's cars as well, and they had zero issue's as well... with a flash, the Injen should net some great numbers i would imagine...

the HKS is only good with a tune. i had it on my car and the car runs alot better with the stock pipe and a K&N cone filter (AMS). if you get the HKS which looks good and sound awesome you need to get a tune. i hear people say it is the best once the car is tuned

I have the injen intake on my car, and i love it. Really nice sound when u hit the loud pedal. I notice that the turbo seems to spool a little quicker, and i notice a little increase in power. I like the fact that it includes upper intercooler piping, which is pretty convenient. U know that everything is gonna piece together perfectly, so i think the injen kit is the best out there, IMO.
