Claudius-- Evo VI turbo

Is the Evo VI's turbo 'reverse rotation' (when looking in the compressor inlet, it spins counter-clockwise) like the Evo VII?

Yea and there is no one in the US that make a upgrade for it. They all have to get there parts from Japan.

The reverse rotation goes back to the EVO4-5 right? That's 3-4 years of biulding these turbo's. You would think someone would have an upgrade by now .

Claudius - is there anyone over there thats make an upgrade?

If the E6 turbine hsg is interchangeable with the E7/E8 it would be good starting point (the E6 and E7/8 both use TD05R-16G6, but with different turbine housings). However, they won't interchange if the turbine trim is different.

I've looked around but haven't been able to find any data related to turbine trim on these cars. Anyone know if there is a difference in turbine trim from E6 to E7?

Claudius, I accept that a titanium turbine wheel is lighter than a normal one and gives less lag, but has someone explained why it gives less top end than a regular one? Does its lower mass reduce the amount of boost it can hold?
