This is my understanding but I don't have any proof so not 100%, if somone knows please chime in but In some cases timing is timing but with the AEM 11 deg in the log is what the engine is seeing and actually firing with all other trims in place aready account for. I don't think this is the case for the stock ECU. You are probably seeing the ecu map without any tims or stragety but not what is actually be ran on the motor. Both can be changed to add or lose with the same result but only one is the actual timing being fired in the engine. I am sure people that tune the stock ECU can probably answer this question much much better than myself. But I can be sure that if you run 20+ degrees with the AEM on the motor it will last for about one pull and or the Knock sensor will pull all the timing back out of it and it wouldn't feel very good.

Also after I reread the post above I didn't mean to flame in any way if you read into it like that, my bad (just almost sounded kind of bad). Just wanted to be sure everyone is aware.

Stock ecu timing is different then the aem. When I had my stock ecu and did a couple of dataloggs I had the same timing as you. I also had 18-20 deg around 7500.

interesting. I am interested in the AEM as i think it could be the right choice for my gt-35r setup. Ime having stalling issues. Thats why i have the interest. No flame taken. I just wanted to point out the timing issue to make sure your tuner was treating you correctly. Good luck and ill be watching future posts. Ray

make sure the parking brake is off

Just kidding. That looks like a wicked setup. I would like to see it running good. I might be thinking about turbo upgrade in the near future.

Great job man! What dyno, pump or race and what what psi did you have to push?

Sorry man, I just went back to page one and opened my eyes. Those numbers are great. And the best thing is the turbo isn't even breathing hard at that level so I would say all your hard work has paid off.

It was on a mustang dyno with pump gas and 21-22psi.
