I thought I remember a few people saying the single carbon wore out somewhat quickly.

Whats your HP goal?

I all really depends what ou are donig with the car and what your expectations are.

However, knowing nothing about your situation, I would have to suggest the Twin Plate as the more versitle of the two.

the carbon material is said to handle more than double the abuse of regular metallic materials. I have the spec sheet from Exedy "daikin-clutch" company and the hyper "CARBON" single disk safetly handles the abuse of 400whp or less. Obviously if you have less than 400whp it will last longer. Carbon is the best material for race use because it wears less, it grabs harder, dissapates heat faster, and is used in all top race teams in F-1 or JGTC. not just the clutch but the brake material used in pads as well. CARBON is the way to go peeps.
