Yeah, i would not personally know, i just know it's "supposed" to fix that problem...if for whatever reason the product doesn't work, I do not know what else to say other than buy a diff valve and do your research on it ahead of time.

yeah like i said you could just be running lean at low rpms......but the stalling at low rpms and when you clutch the car sounds like a bov problem, GOOD LUCK!!
Let me know what you wind up doing!

i looked for write ups to help me but seems this link i found will not come up for me,

i found it here.

so i was wondering if anyone could lend me some insight to adjusting this problem.

thanks guys .
I can help , adjust the bolts on the BOV flange untill the bov falls off of the Uper IC pipe . replace with a MR bov/1g bov/forge re-cic . Done .

j/k I've had the same prod , messed with the "adjustment" bolt , afc and even re-cic kit and my end result in a MR bov on the way !!

hks recir or not doesnt work good on most evo's. I had trouble with mine no matter what I did so I got rid of it. Next, went with the bits dual vent, had problems with it too. Finally tried the greddy type s with single spring mod. It works wonderfully, no turbo surge/stalling/bogging etc.. runs better than factory. It does seal at like 1 psi so you have to be ready for boost to build quick, but once you get the hang of it, it runs flawlessly, none of that interstate slam your head on the steering wheel when you back off the throttle.

^^ i've heard nothing but negative comments on the HKS Super Sequential, try forge! forgoe recirc will run flawlessly. my forge vta valve works fine now, i had to tweak the spring stiffness a bit to get it right

tell me if something looks wrong? i just found out (thanks to traffic) that my 3 button on my air condition does not light up! it should be a dark orange color that circulates the air around the car. i'm guess is a vacuum hose 4 sure.

here are some pics-

hey apple, one thing i notice that is missing is a black disk that is a filter for the vacuum lines that goes inbetween the bov and the vacuum line source. We have the evo7 hks ssqv fully vented and have no problems. I'll try to get a picture of our setup real quick. I do notice the car having a lean idle around 17 or 19 afr. It's all fine though because the engine doesn't stumble or anything liek that. I believe it is because the hks has the smaller of the two valves open during the vacuum of idle letting some air squeak by. Did you install that hks with the o-ring and c-clip supplied? This could be a long shot, but is the recirculation nozzle installed correctly? P.s. You never have to adjust the screw on top of the hks ssqv. It isn't recommend by hks themselves.

WOW, i can't believe i missed this one. What happend to the adjustment screw on top of the hks ssqv apple? I've never seen an hks ssqv without that adjustment knob. I say return it and get one with the screw on top. That screw helps keep the valves closed.
