Definately! I noticed a HUGE difference when I put mine on. It's a pain to install, but it's worth the effort. The turbo spools in about half the time it did before and the torque is much improved. You won't be disappointed!

stick with stock cast o2 housing ...just get ported and coated. its only $225 for the service from buschur. aftermarket o2 housing ll crack later on.

So you are hitting full boost at 1750 RPMs?

Go with a ported stocker. Not only will it last but it will also support the weight of the turbo.

I've heard alot of people stress this. Anyone here had buschur do the porting to there O2 housing? Whats the turn around time from when you mail it away?
Does any other vendors do O2 porting and polishing?

Talking chk ebay

I bought my Megan Racing O2 housing for $90.00 on EBAY, and it is worth it. more HP, and a sooner spool-up ... $90.00 well worth it.

like what timcatz posted use a ported stock o2 housing since it has a separate bracket for mounted to the engine so it doesnt add to the weight of the turbo hanging on the exhaust manifold.i didnt found out about this till later after i had an aftermarket o2 housing installed already.but im in the process of sending my stock housing to buschur to get ported and jet hot coated.

Do you notice any gains from getting the stocker ported and jet hot coated?

i havent sent it yet but ill post the difference when i do but with the stock turbo i noticed the big o2 housing was an overkill ti will give you more exhaust flow but sacrificing some torque down low.the coating helps both ways:cooler engine bay since the radiant heat gets dropped down a bit and a faster exhaust flow.

since when does it hold the turbo's weight last time i checked the downpipe bolted too it? Alot of cracking is most likely caused by rigid dp's with no flex sections bending against it.

Alot of reasons why after market o2 housings break and whatnot is because they only have 2 bolts and the stocker has 3. This doesn't make it as strong as the stocker because it doesn't have as much force holding it on. Works is in the process of making a new o2 housing with 3 bolts, if anything I would wait for that.
