Q/idea about BR WI kit install?
I was debating where to mount the control box for the new WI kit. I like the clean stealth change tray position but didn't like the idea of not seeing the indicator lights. I considered mounting it in the dash like a turbo timer, or on the dash like a radar detector, but thought it looked too busy and sloppy. I wondered if it would be possible to stealth mount it, but tap into the wires and run colored leds to a prominent place for the functions. At least a bright red low fluid warning. I have a couple A pillar guages and plan to mount a couple cheap LEDs next to the guages.
I went to Radio Shack and bought three bright little 12v leds complete with ground/power wires and mounts for a couple bucks each. Which wire to the unit triggers what light and would I tap the + and leave the leds grounded?, or vice-versa? Am I oversimplifying this? Thanks. I know if I don't run a warning like this I'll be popping the change tray obsessively to check it for fear of destroying something. My legs are too long to leave the tray open all the time. Thanks guys!

...or maybe the "spray on" tapped into the old unused green intercooler spray light and/or "low fluid" tapped to "check engine"? That would be clean too although I kind of enjoy lights, gadgets and gizmos.
Check the DynoFlash forum. Someone did it there and I asked about it. Basically, he opened the box and un-sodered the wires from the current LEDS and placed them remotely. I have the kit and thought it would be easier to tap the wires, but haven't opened the box yet. I mounted my in the hole under the radio, I just set it back a bit.
