Both. No dyno with AWD though, just a 2-speed idle test.

Just from my own personal experience using high flow cats on my DSMs, they always needed to be heated up a lot in order to pass emissions, especially if the cat is old. The stockers never needed heating up.

I traded the evo in fully modded with everything in my signature. Guess the aftermarket cats work a little too well in letting everything out of the car.
Is your car tuned? I don't see any type of tuning. Maybe a Turbotrix or Dynoflash wil help. Also I would return the hiflow cat to Buschur Racing on the grounds of a faulty product.

The car is no longer mine. I traded it in. The car was tuned with the WORKS P2 flash and tuned for the cams.

His car was tuned by Works, and he's not going to do anything else to it, seeing as how he doesn't own it anymore...

edit: James, you're always slipping in posts while I'm typing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tail pipe sniffer under a load on rollers. Most places cannot do that on an AWD car. I am not sure what the alternate test procedure is. Mine will be due for emissions test in August when it comes up for registration again. Guess I'll find out then.

So I'm assuming you heard nothing back from the dealership once they got the stock exhaust. It must have passed emissions.

No... someone bought it from the dealer, knowing that it didn't pass. So actually the dealer didn't "deal" with it. It's now someone else's issue.

Ga lemon law says that a car must pass emissions before a dealer can sell it. Not sure about other states.

less money, less thrill, less fun, less life.

that's what i think.

gotta pay to play. sorta cliche, but it's true. I'm going through that same deal with the clutch and the transfer case.

but I can't imagine me driving anything else. Actually I sat down to think about this for a while.

You know, I've been to that easy, comfy luxuriou car period. But I don't think I'm older enough to fully appreciate that sorta comfort.

It will be a 2 speed idle test, they'll sniff your pipe at idle, then at about 2200rpm with car in neutral
