how does this upgrade compare to a 3071???

 

It's finally ready!!! They've been working on that thing for ever! All I know about this thing is that it has the same comp. wheel as the TME turbo but with the 21g housing. It's supposed to have stock-like spool...

 

So, is this the new name for the 20g that sucked? and now they've upgraded it and made it work and call it the 21g?

 

$hit man I hope not. Turbochargers.com usually make pretty good hybrids. Can Buschur please comment.

 

Thats kinda odd that turbochargers.com are selling this turbo, yet Buschur has said nothing about it??? I'm willing to bet this turbo doesnt exist yet....

 

Their site has had this on their page for quite some time..

I can't comment about this because I haven't seen or heard anything about their efforts, but that compressor cover does look like an evo 16G cover..

Hopefully someone who knows something about this will chime in. I suspect if their doing anything, their experimenting with porting the cover to allow more air flow.

 

uhm... david said in that long thread that they're casting the wheels... and that the machining of the wheel was prolly what took away the total hp... never said it was out already tho... but if this has been up on turbochargers.com for a while then i mean... so has hte rumors of the 20g being almost ready...
