Question advice on installing exhaust

I have an Evo 5. I have a ralliart downpipe and a Apexi N1 exhaust. All i need are the pipes. 3" pipes. Do i go straight with less bends? Is there any other way? Help!

if you've got the downpipe and exhaust, then really just sending a straight pipe would be the way to go. cat really isn't needed just make sure you have enough back pressure. hope all goes well. nice car by the way.

Pressure caused by exhaust gasses exiting your car.

If the exhaust diameter is too large, exhaust gas will be going out faster, thus not building enough back pressure. As a result, you will lose some low-end torque (you car will be less-willing to accelerate).

For a race car that the engine is always keeped at running at higher rpm, it's ok to lose the low-end torque. However, on a street car, you might suffer for stop to go (0-60 times)...

Hope I didn't confuse you

Well, I assumed not ALL EVO owners will know a lot about cars/mechanical concepts...That's what auto forum is for, sharing info and learning by reading .

its just kinda funny how someone would get a car like that and not know anything about it, or cars in general for that matter.

First of all, I didn't ask you. Second, I love in a french speaking country. Third I needed to know to make sure I did it right because I said 3 inch pipes and that should be enough back pressure. Fourth I thought turbo cars didn't need back pressure and fifth, keep driving your slow car and mind ur own business.

It would be yours if you had some advice on it, not a wise *** answer. And its obvious your not a marine. Oh and your the genious here pal, and the "marine"...oh yeah and you drive on heck of a slow car. Congrats! Have you ever even seen a turbo. Chill out!
