My numbers are so identical to JustDSM's numbers it's not even funny but I'm on SAFCII and high flow cat. I don't have all of Buschurs parts but similar to his stage 2. I think Turbo13's car should have more power. We'll see when I have my cams installed.

When I started out reading this forums, I was hoping like 340 to 350 WHP and even gone out to run bigger injectors to add more timing cheating with the AFC2 but repeated runs netted me nothing more. Waste of time. Did cam gears and helped a little but hardly worth mentioning.

Its good if somebody's getting that much on pump gas but I rather have another degree of safety margin and not end up blowing up trying to get that extra 10. I mean if I wanted I could run 11.8 or even up to 12.0 A/F ratios like some guys do here. Turn up to 25 psi on the boost but hey hell no I'm gonna run harder trying to make numbers. If you ask me I'd say go with slightly less but reliable all the way. If I wanted bigger numbers, I'd go with a bigger turbo.

I think its a little low myself. I still made 337 hp and 344 on mine just my flash with out cams . Just spend the money and get a AFC and a rail and injectors. It will acount from some power.

I have seen a car making 305 WHP without cams running on a HKS F con SZ programmable on 18 psi. All he had was a 3 inch exhaust and an air intake kit. Very much stock. But thats peak numbers. When you see the curve, its a straight linear line all the way to the top and if I graph mine over his, there's a fat chunk of useble power in the midrange thats not there. Therefore in a real world comparison, my car will still accelerate a lot faster than his. Still boils down to area under the curve. Not much point making peak numbers.

Yeah I agree, I do wish I was making a bit more power. But at the same time after going to the track last Sunday and seeing one of MAC's safc agressively tuned cars blow up, I think safety is definitely my number #1 priority. I trust AL, who has done 1,500 EVO's, over a shop that has been around for a few years. I am going to just get the alky injection, 10.5 hotside and have him custom tune it when he comes out. That should give me a very reliable, linear, and very strong power band. I just got done looking at my old sheets prior cams/intake when I made 316/351 (ran 23 pSI vs 20) and my power band is much better. Peak numbers aren't what I wanted, but the power band is much better.

I agree dude, the car drives great is quick and safe!! I still trapped 107 last Sunday at 5800 ft above sea level on a very hot day on 91 pump gas. So I figure with more boost and some good gas I should see some good results. Or like you said just go big and get a turbo upgrade

All cars are different, thats the moral of the story. I have a 2005 evo with TurboBack 3" exhaust (no cat) intake, boost controller set to 21 psi, fuel pump, and dyno'd anf flashed by TT and i only made 288 whp and i'm at sea level on 93 octane. now i have a fmic anf my friend who has a 2003 evo with just turboback, intake and boost controller beat me pretty bad AND HES NOT EVEN FLASHED!!

I went with HKS 264/272's and my numbers look pretty similar to Turbo13's. Only difference I saw was more power before 4krpm and more power after 5krpm. Between 4-5k rpm was still about the same. Numbers are in my sig. How do you host a picture on here?

The blue line is before cams. The red line is after the cams. Here is the link.

Keep in mind, I'm running Buschurs high flow cat. These runs are not catless.
