you can get the plate lights in either as bright as the top pics, or a little dimmer like below..

 

Now you got me all riled up to do some LED modding on the evo.

im making a 2 row, 10 led, with 10 mm 130 degree viewing angle, 50,000 mcd
3rd brake light.. i will happily call it the blinder... i have been asked make this amazingly.. i try to emphazie how bright leds i have now are, i guess there are people out there more obnouxis than me..

 

That's ridonculous. 50,000 mcd? I think that's way past obnoxious. That literally is blinding. Honestly, I think you would actually get some sort of eye injury if you were behind someone with those. No joke.


The way I do LED's is not to run them at full power.
I wire in resistors to reduce them.

I wanted luxeon's cause of the viewing angle.

 

you and i know how bright they will be, hell there 4 volt 4 chip leds.. i have told them how bright they will be.. they want them.. i also dont accept liability for these either if cops bust them for them.. there just wrong.

i use 2 1 watt luxeons, with 180 degree angle for my interior.. and just 2 of them are enough..

 

Whoever it is is pretty stupid.
