LEd 3rd brake light [pics]

Bored.
Decided to mod my 3rd brake light for LED's.

Used a 3500mcd 45 degree LED and wired up 24 of them in the brake light.

Opinions?

Then I did someone else's brake light as well.

Yea someone on this forums sells that on ebay or something.

Not a fan of the words...its too much like lightbright.
I it differently than he does. I believe he uses a plexiglass plate and hotglues the LED's to them. I dunno how much I like that. That's the way it appears in the pictures.

No tutorial for this one. Everything depends on the typr of LED you use...so I can't tell you how to wire things up.
Every LED is different. I've done this before in a few other cars and each time it must be calculated per car.

I can do these for people if they'd like. PM me.

Next time maybe some luxeon LEDs.

I'm actually sort of iffy on them myself.
But boredom took over today
I had some spare LED's from other projects and I figured since LED brake lights are much safer than normal filament bulbs, I might as well.
