Cool I want 400 whp!

Ok, lets start with a stock EVO. I have all of this so far. Add a Perrin Catback exhaust, high flow cat, Helix downpipe, O2 housing( I don't remember which one), prostreet online tubular manifold. Next Perrin intercooler(bar and plate), copy of ultimate racings aluminum intercooler piping kit, HKS suction intake. Stock block and head, Hallman boost controoler or GM ( take your pick), AEm 1313 with wideband and all sensors. RC engineering 750 cc injectors, HKS 272 intake and exhaust cams, HKS cam gears. I'm sure I've left somnething off but lets stay with this. It'll be tuned by an AEM certified technician. I'll use this car as a daily driver. I have $4000 in the kitty. I want 30 mpg when I have a light right foot. Which turbo would you put on this car? The engine is just broken in. Would you buy the TME from forced performance, stay stock, or try an ATP GT3071R? Car is bought, all parts ready to bolt on except the turbo and a cat elimiminator pipe. I'm open to any comments or suggestions. Somethings I left out: I want this on 93 octane gas with stock -like spool if possible.

The guy who built my VR4 claims he gets 30 mpg on the freeway IF he has a light foot. His dynos at 540 + HP on racegas and I've seen the dyno sheets.I'm not sure what kind of dyno. My VR4 has 404 WHPand 380 Wheel torque and I get 20 mpg and its not tuned well.

Turbo picks

The TME is a simple good choice which does not compromise low end at all. You will not get 400 AWHP with that. The next choice is as you mentioned the 3071 which will get you to your mark. The difference between these is about 45-60 AWHP and about $ 3000.00 (I'm a Vishnu guy and would wait for stage 2 to come out sometime in July). Good luck,

I've got a beater and I've thought aboput running it into a F'ing bridge. "I can't drive it no more." I went from an Audi S4 to a VW Jetta Tdi for gas savings. Best I've gotten is 35MPG, usually worse. Slides in the wet, goes nowhere in the snow( drove my son's WRX), uncomfortable, and obviously slow. I drive 86 miles one way to work and its an effort. Even my wife said "sell the thing". So I am.

What do you think I could get with the TME? My prediction was about 350 give or take 20 WHP.
