two problems linked?

well i need some input on this one guys.. and please no.. "take it in to the dealership" comments.. those arent going to help me..

when i bought my vii a few months ago it already came with a hks bov venting into the atmosphere with all the hks i/c piping.. so today i finally got around to putting the hks flange in and running a tube to dump back into the intake..

after i did i took it out of test drive i noticed all three of my acd lights were on.. so i checked everything reset the ecu and even put it back to open venting.. and still the same thing..

i think i would have notcied it before and i dont understand how these two things could be related.. ive had the same thing happen before when a abs sensor got streched out and split.. but also the abs light came on.. and thats not happening now..

just want to know if anyone has any thoughts for me.. things to check.. everything was fine before.. i also would like to dig up some diagrams or something or all the misc small hoses/lines because some are disconnected... but like i said before everything is the same as earlier today.. but now my acd lights are on

May be hard to find any info. around here, just because ACD is still new to most of us in the states with the 05.

If it were me, I would try and look at all the wiring in the area of the BOV to try and see if something got knocked loose or unplugged. It may be a good idea to try and find a wiring diagram for it so you can trace all the wiring. You may also want to post this on the Euro. boards since those fellas have much more experience with it.

As far as having the BOV in VTA configuration or recirculate, I cant see how it would possibly have anything to do with the ACD.

Good luck and keep us posted on how it works out for you.

Sounds like you knocked out the fuse, or the wiring harness near the transmission/transfer case.. if the pump harness is disconnected all three lights probably will go on..

Check the fluid level for the ACD as the lights will come on when it's low. It could be something else, but that's the simplest
