Need Help!!

I recently took a road trip with my evo. As I was leaving the place I went to, the car stalled. Luckily I was pulling in to get gas. But that wasnt the problem. As I turned my car on again it was very difficult to start. Then my service engine soon light came on. I took it to a shop and they ran the computer and found that both the crank and the cam was misfiring. What could be the problem? He reset the computer and the car is runnng ok, although I can still feel a bit of a misfire. Also my oil pressure gauge is flashing the warning light. Could they be connected? Any info would help, but I ask that you know what your talking about. Thanks!!

I don't mean to ask a stupid question, but you didn't mention it: did you check your oil?

You need to start with the oil pressure light flashing.
What is the pressure reading?

Pressure reads between 75 and 110 depending on gears. No offense UT Evo but I have no idea what exactly exact means but thanks, I guess that I should have gotten the codes. So now that thats out of the way what should I do.

bring it in! and ask if you can watch so you know what to do next time. tell 'em you'll wear safety goggles and all and you'll make sure that OSHA doesn't catch you.

It's flashing while driving with that kind of pressure?

How many miles does the car have? I would look at the spark plugs to see what they look like. I am guessing you feel the misfire under boost.

Its flashing at idle, but not when Im drving it. It kind of seems like it drops the idle when im sitting there almost like its going to stall.

oh shih... your mods didn't even register . . . if you can make it, take a trip to LA and visit Union Mitsu, they're cool. the MGR Jerome will take care of you. then hit up the beach for a nice tan and follow up with a fun night out on the town

oil pressure is pretty low, well below 30. What should it be at during idle? I will do that dizzigital. I need to see the ocean again.
