HELP! my Evo is only pushing 14.5 lbs

I was doing a couple hard pulls today and all of the sudden im only pushing 14.5 lbs when my normal is 21

its not my boost guage, its reading fine.

I've checked all hoses, vacuum lines etc. none are whacked

my car runs perfectly, no hesitation.

I've tried turning my boost controller, but does not do anything.

what could be the problem?

thanks.

Check your vacuum lines that hook into your boost controller... also check for your I/C hoses (double checking doesn't hurt). Also try resetting the ECU too.

the diaphram within the w/g actuator maybe damaged / torn...resulting in less boost.

Try disconnecting the boost line to the w/g actuator & see if you run any less boost. The only harm that can come from it is you run less boost.

it was the boost controller, the little bearing inside was acting goofy

I think its that venting it all out to atmosphere that seems to be the problem. sounds cool but driveability is definitely lost with atmospheric BOV's. try cappin it and recirculating.
