Need help asap, MR DV or APS BOV?

k i just sold off all my bov's and i need to order a bov, im thinking a MR DV or APS bov. Which one guys? i know idle isnt a problem with either nor stumbling cuz theyre both recirc. i know the MR DV is like 1/2 the price, but i'll miss the sound of my HKS SSQ VTA. Also if someone could point me in the direction of where to get a MR DV for under $100 it would be great, used or new. thx!

Dude I've had the MR dv in my car since last OCT. IT works great, and with the Reactive (bolt to MAF) Air Cone It can be clearly heard. you'll like it

Get the MR. It's great. I know Gruppe-S has them for $120 shipped. That's where I bought mine.

yea i've heard nothing but 100% positive feedback on both those BOVs. Those 2 are the ONLY bov's that i have never gotten negative feedback on. Well i am running an aftermarket intake pipe and filter so it should still be loud, but it will never compare to running an HKS SSQ VTA. man that thing was so loud. Anyways, yea i'll guess i'll go wit the MR since my gf told me to as well ( only cuz its cheaper and works perfect). Yea gruppe-s has them for 120, but i wanna get 1 for cheaper cuz it feels like im paying 120 for a stock BOV basically. any other places i can get em for cheaper?

^^ wrong about 80% people have had no problems with mr valve, im among the 20% that it didnt work for. I to this day havent heard 1 problem with the aps, besdies it costing about $100 more.

On most cars with the HKS RS intake it stalls your car at random times while driving. Mostly backing up for me. It didnt have good throttle characteristics either.

and yes i know your question was directed at me.

Well, it is a stock-like BOV, but in reality it's quite different. The material is aluminum and that's a huge difference from the plastic OEM valve... I don't know if the aluminum makes it better, but it did seem to improve the boost holding in my car and it really works flawlessly. The car actually idles and runs more stably or smoothly than it did before with the plastic valve and as I said, it makes more boost and holds it longer than before. For me it was a good upgrade. I paid less than $120 (got it used) but I think it's worth the $$ if it works as well as mine did

I love the APS BOV...no issues to date. Best of both worlds.
