Just installed GSC 272/264 cams + Blitz BOV

All i can say is this setup is insane, the power from these cams are very noticable right away. I love it, the idle is great too, sounds like a monster. Car pulls hard in every gear, i can't imagine how it's going to be after i actually get the car tuned. Definatly recomend this setup. Also installed the Blitz DD BOV the day after, even running fully VTA this bov doesnt have any idle/stalling/stuttering issues at all, holds boost and drives like stock. Over all, i'm very pleased between these two mods, makes me want to drive my car 100x more now lol. Just figured i'd share my results.

Thanks again to Chris at Logic Performance for the hook up with the cams

I'm going to try to get a vid either tonight or tomorrow, i was very surprised at how smooth the install went (first time installing cams), no probs what so ever with timing or valve train noise

Do you still have the stock fuel pump or are you using the walbro or equivalent?

Did you have to use any adapters/flanges for the blitz bov ot work with your set up?

stock fuel pump for now, and the blitz bov came with the evo 8 specific kit (flange that bolts on to the bov so you can just bolt it up to the stock i/c piping).

Cool!! Glad to see your setup worked. So just take the stock bov off and install the blitz with the Evo kit. Where did you buy the bov from? After installing, how is the sound?

Thanks...

I actually bought it used from a member here on evom, It comes with a piece that blocks off the intake tube so you can fully vta. The sound is amazing, very loud and aggressive sounding. Very easy to install...took about 15 mins.

Hey thanks for your answers. By the way I just found the kit on 500whp.com for a pretty good price. But I also read it hold up to* 18psi? I had noticed your running 21 psi in your sig. I assume that it can hold more then whats listed?

How long did it take you to install the cams? I have a buddy that will be purchasing them hopefully today and we are looking at installing them.

Have you really opened her up? That sounds a little scary to me if you have w/ no tune and no upgraded fuel pump...or maybe I am just over cautious?!?

Are you measuring your AFR's - that is since you are still using the stock fuel pump? I'd love to not have to purchase a fuel pump either when I install my cams...
