clutch replacement...

well i want to mod my car soon, its got about 23k and the stock clutch is holding up fine. is there a way i can get the dealer to change the clutch on warranty like at a certain mileage or something? what im saying is that i want to get a new clutch before i start modding so itll last longer. i dont want a clutch thats already 23k old and start modding so i have to change it sooner. thanks

He said he has 23k miles. As long as he has the 35k warranty he is fine. I have an 03 as well but have only 11k. He has an 03 so he has about a year til his 3 year warranty is up. That is if he doesn't hit 35k before then. I think I will hit 3 years before I hit 35k. That is why everytime I go for my monthly pit pass, I never meet the mileage requirement.

12k mile or not, it really depends on the dealer if they will cover it or not. It could have 8k, and they still wont cover, especially if your modded.

u'd be really lucky if u could get ur dealer to warranty ur clutch if u were under 12k but theres no chance now. Just go ahead and mod. i have intake, exaust, short shifter, and my dealer still warranties my car.
