Question HELP! Need new driveshaft...sort of...

So a dealer I actually trust is putting in my TRE tranny and tcase soon. When they took the stockers out they noticed my "driveshaft front yolk to the transfer unit" is ground up from some kind of crappy installation. He said it was chewed/banged up and wouldn't seal properly. Mitsu only sells the ENTIRE SHAFT ($600+) even though he admits all he needs is the front yolk. Any ideas, vendors or shops that could help me? I didn't find much on bolt in EVO driveshafts on here, let alone components. He said this part is EVO specific so if I went junkyardin' I'd have to find an EVO...(fat chance).
