MR short shifter, has one been made?
The 6-speed shifter is a completely different animal. The pivot point is actually on the bottom rather than residing in the middle. So, you can't play with the pivot point and/or length of the shifter on either side as is possible in the 5-speed. It's not so much the reverse interlock as it is the cable connections. It's just a more complex unit that will take a little time to sort everything out.

Anytime that you reduce movement of the shifter you also reduce the resolution of the movement, which will lead to more problems, due to the fact that any shifting errors the driver makes will be amplified at the transmission.

I'll never go to a Short-throw kit again. Shortened throw is cool, but at the cost of reduced leverage and increased notchiness/resistance. Count me out.
To be honest, I would actually like the MR shift rod to be another 2-3" taller.
