What years share the same motor mounts as the Evo8?

If you have pictures, or can take pictures, of your motor mounts especially if you have a MR or RS please post. I'm trying to find out if my motor mounts ('03 Evo) will fit in other models, and if so, how many.

Furthermore, would an evo 8 mount fit in a evo 7? How about a dsm? (Opposite sides obviously.)

Here are pictures of my mounts http://bolsen.homeip.net/evo/images/...lbum/index.htm

If you read this, but can't contribute, please at least bump the thread.

i know for sure evo 7 and evo 6. it might be a bit different in how thick they are.

call up Victor at Bill Penney mitsubishi in huntsville alabama.

(free advertising for you bill penney)

He's the service manager there. He owns evo 7.

check it out with him. Outlander... i think that might be a long shot, but you could goto the dealer and pull the parts diagram.

free bump for your a.

All EVO 4-9 motors are interchangeable, they have slight variances in internal design, like different water pump, different head ports, but they all will physically work and interchange. They will also fit as follows.

99-2004 Galants 4 cylinder only

2000- present Eclipse 4 cylinder only

All 4 cylinder outlanders

I currently have an EVO7 block, with an EVO8 head in my 99 Galant, with a 2001 Eclipse tranny. FWD of course...

All EVO1 - EVO 3 motors will fit the following

1st and 2nd gen DSM's Eclipse/Talon/Laser

90-92 Galant VR4

94-98 Galant non turbo

No problem, yeah my car is the **** of different car parts. 02' EVO7 block, 03 EVO8 head, 99 EClipse clutch/flywheel, 01 eclipse tranny, 92 Eclipse Brake calipers, and the list goes on..... and the best part is, mitsu is too lazy to re-engineer anything, so it all bolts up.
