boom/need Tbolts and a way to clear SES light
Hey,
I was at about 7400 rpm in 3rd when all of a sudden BOOM, SES light and total limp mode. I was lucky enough to be 1/2 a mile away from home. Anyway, the lower IC pipe I installed poped off and I think I should replace the crappy band clamps with some T bolt units. Does anyone know of a good source for these or a place I could go and buy some. I am located in Houston.
I also would like to know if there is a way to turn the SES light off without an OBD2 tool. Can I remove the battery and press the brakes or will it disapear after a few times of driving without the condition? Thanks for the help.
All that giving a friend a test drive

Definately check NAPA out. I am located here in La Porte, just southeast of H-Town, and there is a local NAPA that i got all of my t-bolts from. As for the ses light, I would just disconnect the negative side on your battery for a minute or two, and the light will magically disappear.
Hi,
NAPA may have them. You can also get them from hose techniques online, but they're kind of spendy.
Regarding the SES light, you can often clear the light by pulling the two engine fuses in the fusebox under the hood (driver's side). Look at the legend, there's a 15 and a 20 IIRC, or perhaps it's 10 and 15, but look at the fusebox cover to make sure.
This way, you don't lose station presets and whatnot.
Take care,
