I took to my E55 mechanic. He says he can fix it. He is going to check/reinstall the cams, add my cam gears and make sure the timing is perfect. He checked my voltage to make sure that it wasn't something with the battery or alternator. I'm dropping it off to him at the end of the month and he'll take care of it.
He says the ISC is working and the ECU keeps raising and lowering the idle because it's trying to cope with the A/C, aftermarket cams and timing is off a hair. It seems to me that we didn't make sure that everything was TDC when the cams where installed. I also told him to check on the valve train to make sure everything is straight. I think he also wants to bleed the lash springs.
This guy is the only guy that I can trust to do this. He's honest, meticulous and inexpensive.
