you can't go wrong with HKS cams, whether you choose 264/264, 264/272 or 272/272's

 

whats the differences between the different grinds? how does each grind change the characteristics of the car. like whats the difference between a 264/272 and a 272/272?

 

Just tuned sunday night: Me hks 272s, other guy gsc 272/264

3rd gear pulls 40-80 = me (hks 272s) win by 2 cars

264in 272/ex all around HKS off course.

 

I just recently had the GSC 272/264 combo installed. With only the base Dynoflash for tuning (flashed almost a year ago) the idle is rock steady with a mean lope from the cams. Power is incredible and it pulls hard all the way through the rpms.

Without additional tuning, the installer (Sublime in Omaha) used a G-Tech on before and after runs. On the G-Tech, the cam change alone made a 10MPH DIFFERENCE in the 1/4 mile! Needless to say, I highly recommend the GSC cams.

I got a deal on HKS 272/272... If I had to do it over, I might look at the GSCs. However, on the stock turbo, I've not regretted the 272's AT ALL! 333whp and 317ft lbs on a Mustang Dyno... and the 317ft lb peak was at 4000rpm even.

 

Has anyone with cams had idle issues with the ac on? 272's

 

GSC all the way i got the 272/264 cams, probably gonna get them in this weekend, i have heard nothing but good things about these cams

I got a smokin' deal, but I bought them from another member on EvoM. Look around a lot in the For Sale forums and you'll find some really good deals. Most of the retail places sell them for about the same price.
