I'm planning on getting cams within the next few weeks, i was thinking about getting the hks 272's, but i have also heard great things aboutthe gsc cams. So which cams do you reccomend.

All the Evo in our shop runs HKS cams and cam gears...works great for us so I think it will work good for you.

Thanks,

HKS and GSC seem to perform about the same from what I've seen. The HKS cams are cleaned up a little more (smoother edges and such), but the lobes are the same on both. If I hadn't gotten such a good deal on my HKS cams I probably would have gone with GSC.

HKS. I just had the HKS 272 Int. 264 Ex. with cam gears(Vishnu) installed and I LOVE IT!! I still have a full stock exhaust on my car and it is still a rocket! Love the stealthyness of it, sounds stock but she spanks some serious azz! HKS has been making cams for a long time, I trust their quality. Good luck.
