AMS has a good looking stroker kit, and i know their products are top notch. I've also heard that JUN's stroker kit is really nice, but cost twice as much as the AMS kit.

I agree the the AMS fit would work fine. However, I like the fact that Crower includes a billet crank with their kit instead of a stock 4g64 crank. IMO Crower has the best kit on the market. It is currently being used in the RC Developments 900+HP Evo. If I could start my build over again it would be with the Crower kit. JUN is excellent but the Crower kit seems to be as good and a better value.

Toda = stock 4g64 rods (weaker than the stock Evo8 rods) and stock 4g64 crank. The pistons are nice...

Yeah, we are fixing up an Evo 5 and the owner is kinda mixed up which one to get. Though he had seen the results of the jun on my car, he wants as much opinions on the others.

I'm not knocking AMS as they are a great company to work with but realize that their kit is not custom and is made up off Eagle rods, Ross pistons, and a 4g64 crank. All of these components can be bought off of the shelf from anyone. I like the fact that Jun and Crower develop and manufacture most of the components that make up their stroker kit.

Why? What is it about their kit that makes you choose them? The website doesn't have any specifics on the kit. Do you know the specifics?

Well actually after looking at Crower's website, i will have to change directions and go with their stroker kit! Although its more expensive, u get basically a bullet proof engine that could probably handle any power level. U cant go wrong with billet everything! I think ur customer would be really happy with that kit considering that Crower gives u different options for the crank, thus allowing u to alter bore a stroke to ur preference!

Well I just wanted to share this. Autoplus usually recommends Jun or Crower. Though we had seen an Evo 6 TME with a Tomei 2.3 liter stroker kit, it is hard to say how long this would last and if it can handle so much power. As for the Jun, yes it is expensive (Im flat broke now) , but I am secure of a bullet proof engine that can handle the 700+ hp my car has right now . Same thing for the Crower. We installed a Crower stroker kit on an Evo VII with only a stock turbo and made an 11.29 pass , well of course we did more on the engine. And up to now, that Evo is running great and can be used like a normal streetcar and can withstand our world famous traffic jams.
