cant remove the intake

The intake box is easy to remove but the other end of it is the hard part. I cant loosend the clamps because the bolt is underneath the pipe and I cant see it or get any tools in there to loosen it up. I dont know why its placed like that... do I need to take other parts out to get to it?

I just reached my hand under there from the top of the car to get it little by little. I didnt have to take anything else off to do it. It can be done, just takes some patience and determination. lol I did however end up with a lot of cuts on my hand by the time I was done.

I didn't have any trouble at all taking mine off, but a lot of people said they did. When you put it back on make sure you put the clamp on with the bolt in an easily accessable location.

Also I forgot to mention, if you havent taken the mass air sensor off the air box yet I would try to figure out a way to hold the bolt still inside the air box while you take the nuts off the outside. Only one of mine came off without breaking the airbox, the other three just broke the plastic tabs on the airbox and I had to end up completely trashing the box by the time I was done. It is a bad design but I imagine if you can hold the bolt still while taking the nut off, you will be ok.

I just found out how to get it off by reading on the "how to section". Your suppose to use a short philips screw driver and locate the nut under the bottom side. You will get have to squeeze your hand in those tight areas and will get some cuts... my hands already got some cuts and scrapes when I installed my upper ic pipe last night so it wont make a difference Thanks for the tip guys.

really no bumper removel? please tell me how! or can i just get at it under the car. and do you have to take the plastic undertray off? Sure "looks" like its easier with the bumper removed? And it dosn't look to hard to take the bumper off
