How do I remove the throw out bearing from the pressure plate?
The service manual says take a screwdriver between the collar and rotate 90 degrees. But it's not working.... can any give me some advice?

Step 2) Push down on TOB and Pull-Clip
Step 3) Twist screwdriver 90degrees.
Should pop out... You want to use a thicker screwdriver or even a putty knife would work.

Help!!!
i have tried for 2 hrs to get the TOB off and it wont... my car was really slipping bad like wouldnt even move even at 7k rpms in 1st... i think i might have fused the TOB to the pressure plate... how do you remove the Pressure plate with the tranny case still on????

I'd say you'd have to rotate the crank little by little so that the pressure plate bolts would be visible through the inspection hole. ya could maybe loosen them one at a time that way.
