Which testpipe with HKS downpipe and exhaust

I've been searching around for an appropriately sized test pipe to use with the HKS downpipe and an HKS carbon Ti. Does anyone make a good test pipe to use with these two?

A testpipe is just a pipe. It doesn't matter. Just make sure it fits to your system and has an o2 sensor bung. I think Helix/Buschur/Ultimate-Racing/WORKS all make them like that.

well sizing was my concern, as far as using a 3 inch or a 2.5 inch. Is a 2.5 inch too small or a 3 inch too big. the hks downpipe ends as 2.65 right, no consensus as far as what the size actually is?

bump for some more replies... I have a 3" UR test pipe, but didn't install it between my HKS dp and HKS catback yet. I was concerned with sealing issues at the flanges. I also wasn't sure whether to use a 2.5 or 3" gasket. 3 looks too big, but 2.5 might be a restriction. What did you guys use with the HKS dp and cb?

I have the exact same set-up and use the Perrin test pipe with the O2 simulator. I have heard the UR test pipe is a nice set-up also.

I use the Random Technology Hi-Flow Cat (the one that fits the stock diameter exhaust) that fits nicely with the HKS downpipe. I have a Borla Exhaust on the other side, so I think it would fit with your HKS exhaust as well.

2.5" test pipe unless you get the tapered end of the midpipe we-welded to make it a full 3"

I have 1 for sale brand new if you want one

+1 for the same setup, but I have a Helix 3" test pipe on an MR with no fitment issues.

I have a 2.5in testpipe on my hks dp and hks hi power exhaust. It fits perfect with no issues. I have used a 3 in test pipe and a 3in hi flow cat also with only small problems with fitting. Nothing gaskets and sealer could not help fix. But I like the fitment of the 2.5in testpipe better. I don't see there being much power difference from using either a 2.5in or 3in testpipe.

either the 3 inch or 2.5 Ultimate Racing one will fit and work great - the holes are slotted on the them to allow fitment to a variety of downpipes and catbacks
