Exclamation MBC/PSI Question!!!

I'm sure it has been asked before and I've tried searching but what is the highest, yet, safest we can boost are cars. Here is the list of what I'm looking at getting:
GFB Stealth FX Dual Port BOV, GFB Whistler Trumpet, Hallman Evo RX MBC Kit, Stewart Warner Black Face Gauge Solution package (Boost/ Oil Pressure/ EGT). I already have a TurboXS intake and ACT Street clutch. Thought I heard that 20/21psi is good for daily driving and 24psi is the highest for the track. Thanks!!!

I wouldnt try and run 24psi on your car with no tune. You prolly couldn't anyways without hit boost cut. 20-21 may be fine, but you should really get a tune.

I run 22.5psi on cooler days and turn it down to 21 on hotter days. I am tuned at 22.5psi. Note, I use 5th gear to determine how much boost I am running as you will see more in 5th gear than any other gear due to load.

yeah I was going to say, Don't even try to run anything above 21 psi on 91 octane without a tune. Very bad idea. If you use 94 octane or higher I'd set your boost in fourth gear maxing at 21 and holding 19-20 till redline. You'd probably be runing 19-20 in 1st and 2nd. That's what I did. But a tune is definatley recommended.

OK I'm running 91 octane. I'm hoping to be getting a S-AFC in July. So I should install the MBC than go onto the hwy and set the psi for 20/21 in 4th/5th gear?

Id set it 19/20 just to give you some room for bad gas, knock, and dentonation
