OBDII Pocket logger\code reader .......

Recently, the CEL light have been coming on and off at idle. I took it to autozone and the code was P0300. I'm tired of taking the car to autozone!

Is there a good OBDII pocket logger\code reader out there that can be use? Can a logger read and erase DTCs as well? Not sure if I should just spend the extra $$$ and get a logger or just get a code reader.

This car is too paranoiding!!!!

Thanks.

Hmm, that's Tuner Stein not Pocket Logger.

Here's what you do...

Go to Ebay and search for a "Creader" OBDII scanner.

Plug it in, leave it plugged in, and tuck it in the dash valence so it doesn't get in the way.

You'll never experience the PO300 or any misfire so long as you leave it plugged in.

Thanks. Sounds like a good band-aid. Do you know if this will prevent the ECU from logging other valid DTC?

It will so long as it's plugged in.

Every rose has its thorn, but this one is small in comparison to the aggravation of dealing with PO300 related misfire.

I've got the OBDII PocketLogger. No problems. Reads/clears CELs and logs the usual OBDII stuff (but doesn't log knock).

i think i'm going to give this a try......scan tool and dynamometer in one....i just don't know if i want the palm or the PC version........

i would be really cool they would have inputs to log Wideband and EGT.....and i don't understand why they can't read/log Knock
