downpipe only at the track???

ok,don't laugh y'all.i was thinking of just runnning the downpipe only at the track tomorrow night.i know some of you's have thought about doing this.i think it's a little crazy, but i think it'll be ok.i'm looking for advice if it's ok,or not ok.i have seen some srt-4 guys in town do it,and seems to help them on there times.i have a stock exhaust right now,so if i had i 3' turboback,i wouldn't bother doing this.if you wanna hate on me for posting this noob like question, have at it

Don't be a meathead. Leave your exhaust on your car.

Its no problem, take it off. People run without exhaust at the track all the time. You wont be the only one.

Your o2 sensor will not like you.

without a proper tune it wont do any good. The down pipe is one of the most restrictive peices in you exhaust. I wouldn't do it or reccomend it. Unless i didn;t like the guy and wanted him to look silly.

What's wrong with running straight downpipe? I do it all the time... less back pressure = better.

How is this being a "meathead"?
