Heck even Mr. Buschur has TESTED this for days on the dyno. The stock turbo has gone 10.9 already by the famous Curt Brown.

Also i am making 400whp/431torque on the stock turbo
it's my prediction, and the 16g sucks I agree along with most from teamnabr.com . The GT30 series from forced performance is what i'm looking at. At low boost, i forgot how much pressure (well under 20psi), it's as flows as much as a b16g at 20psi. Hey, I gave my opinion, and the original poster can go by it, and end up like the famous AMS evo, or can end up like KILTERMAN, because he knows everything.

p.s. kilterman has a red car

with the ability to read I can also say that the AMS EVO is powered by GT35R not a GT30 series. And Forced Performance doesnt sell the AMS GT35R kit , AMS does. Learn to read

haha, i'm talking about it for my GSX.. "is what i'm looking at", because that statement was about dsm's. Looks like somebody here needs to practice what he preaches.

Edit. Mods, I really tried to give my opinion in the most clearest way possible, and this person is just trying to start something. Just delete the irrevelant theads or lock it if you must. I'm unsubscribing.

i'm pretty sure you can kim. 10.5 hotside is a cheap upgrade for the stock turbo. it makes decent gains. the gains are all across the powerband too. My tuner said my car w/ 10.5 hotside had more low-mid torque than he's seen on other evo's. i don't think spool is slower w/ 10.5 hotside either. IMO. didn't road and track make like 20 more horsepower with the '05 evo(10.5 hotside) than the '03 previously tested? 20hp--->300-400 bucks is pretty cheap to me.

So, Whats up with upgrading the internals of the stock turbo with Ti/Alum. parts? Is it cheaper than buying a TME turbo? Can you buy the parts and do it yourself?

At this point, just go to Forced Performance or RRE or Switzer Performance and ask for a white rabbit. For 500 bucks more than a TME, it's a no brainer.
