Has anyone Gotten the Exhaust manifold Ported and Polished then coated by Buschur? Waiting for mine to be done, and wanted some reviews. Did a search and found alot of talk but not much else . thanks

I have an O2 housing and trying to source a turbine housing, but I wanna see how long the mani takes to return. I am working on 1 month here, and anxious

 

We finally got the coated parts all back in, must have taken 2-3 months this time. Rediculous. As of now we are going to sell what we have in stock. If we don't find someone local that can supply the parts back to us faster it is something we are no longer going to offer.

So, does this mean you basically trade parts? I send you an exhaust mani and you send me the one you had ported/coated (and keep mine)? Just looking for clarification. I've been talking to Jarrod about sending in an '05 turbo and exhaust mani. If it takes 2-3 months to turn things around, I may have to explore other options (have a July 10th dyno day).

 

I thought this process was a core exchange deal? What was that post by Buschur talking about getting them in? Well anyhow I bought an extra ex mani just in case I wanted to get this done but didn't want to be without my car. By the way, what about those of us that are tapped into the ex mani for our egt bungs? Can you still do those for us?

We have some spare manifolds, 9.8 turbine housings and 02 housings here that I bought to get ported and coated so we can simply swap the parts out with the ones that come in for faster service. I have no 10.5 housings.

I will try and let everyone know if we stop this service.
