We have something here we have already finished that will allow the coolant temps to remain the same and therefore the AFR's will not move around and power won't be lost.
Hmm...so sounds like either a lower temp thermo or more likely a coolant temp sensor simulator.

So coolant temp enrichment maps can't be modified with a reflash?

It's done and it works. I will be getting with Al today and see how he wants to handle "selling" this part.

This is one of those things that you have a new car on the market, most if not all of the other tuners out there either haven't realized the problem, don't care or were too dumb to figure out a solution. Al told me the problem he is seeing and he has been working on a solution. A 15 second conversation with my brother Daniel, who owns/runs our service department, and he told me how to fix it. Sure enough, it works perfectly.

Not only does it work, it leaves your fan on to run non-stop as long as the key is on for additional cooling.

Anyway, we are only dealing with a honest $5 part, shipping and messing with it is going to be harder to handle than the part.

It comes down to being in business and figuring if you have a good idea, even if it is low cost, that you should damn sure get paid for it. Business man coming out in me.

Cool stuff though.

Hmm, sounds like it puts the aux fan on a switched relay.

Man, these new Mitsu's are starting to sound more and more like old Audi's. My friend's UrQ has the fan relay on a dash switch because the stock electrics are almost 20 years old and he trusts them just about as much as a kid in a candy shop.

Nice pricepoint, though.
