Some have said that this is normal in the 4g63 motors...

Are any of you getting this same noise? It sounds like valve noise, but the car only has 29,000 miles.

It doesn't really go away if I get on it. It just gets faster.

Has anyone had this checked out before?

It could be ur lifters where did you get ur oil change done ??? someone might of put in a bad oil filter and all it takes is one time and the lifters might be bad i am assuming its ur lifters i have the same thing on my car

 

I did the oil change....I used a Fram filter for our car and used Mobil 1 synthetic. hmmm...would this mean replacing the lifters?

that was happening when i first got my evo(45000miles) After i changed the oil and put mobile 1 plus some engine restore. it was straight.

 

the tick tick noise? mine does that too.. but it will be away if i press down the clutch though.. is this the same thing?

 

same here. did the oil change + filter, but the noise still there.
