Upper intercooler pipe ballooning!

hey guys,

I just noticed that the upper intercooelr pipe of my evo balloons upon revving. I can only imagine how bad it would be under a lot of boost. anywayz, has anyone had this problem already? casr feels choked. Even if the car pulls fairly good, it doesn't feel like it's willing to pull hard and go fast.

planning to have a fabricated upper ic pipe, but I just want to know about this sorta thing...

thanks a lot...

That's why people get hard pipes, the engine becomes a lot more responsive because the pressurized air goes right into the engine without first ballooning the rubber hoses (well that and aftermarket pipes normally have less bends).
