Any more information on your setup might be a big help. Are you spraying a 75shot pump gas and what type of boost are you running? I assume you are running a map just for the nitrous with the UTEC.

Joker stole my idea... well not really, but damn I mentioned it to him!

My theory was to utilize the 1st gear activation into a switch mounted on a piece of steel bracket. Since the shifter linkage (or cable system) is a linear non-typical system, and not prone to movement when engine/tranny is under load, you could in essence create a switch for each gear. This would be benificial for more than just a no2 system that doesn't spray in 1st gear. Think on more a global deal, like the utec. You could have a single map for each gear, but bypassing a few other things, would initially hinder its operatiion, but I am working on it.

o.k. here are the pics. Its really basic, and it works FLAWLESS. Once you shift into second, the switch is activated and stays on throughout the run.....total cost......10 cents.... Ray
