CEL, again.
CEL, again.
I was on the drive to work this morning and after my usual pull up the entrance ramp a CEL was triggered. This is the second or third time this has come on since getting my Buschur turboback a few months back. I have a Cat, so I'm not sure that is the problem. I thought no CEL's were supposed to be triggered with this exhaust?
Think I should just reset the ECU again, or is this a more serious problem? Is it just in need of a tune? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same setup amongst other things. I've triggered the ol' "cat inefficiency" code a couple times too. My Dad has a diagnostic reader so he just clears it out. It seems as soon as it's cleared it just pops back in to the "pending" area right away. It doesnt really bother me to be honest.

just take the cat out. Cats are for boys. step into the Man's world... where pollution runs free and oils drip without care! where your lungs are black as your exhaust.
lol
it could be that your cat is burnt up. or loose inside. this happens time to time.

I just got a p0420 code and mitsu said it was because of an aftermarket exhaust( I have a vishnu exhaust). I would advise anyone NOT to go there for codes to be pulled or they will void your warranty relating to that if you have an aftermarket exhaust.
