well recently i got my car from the dealer for a broken rod, so i had to change everything on my car including the mbc. well the problem is that when i got my car back its not hitting the full boost its justs goes to 10 psi's and stay's there. also i have all the stock hoses on the car for stock boost setting but the thing thats missing is that little restricter thats goes on the stock vacuum lines. people told me to just put back the mbc and it would be fine, but its also making a whistle noise from the turbo and it sound like its coming out of the intake what could that noise be from and is it normal?????

 

Sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere. Check all of your boost and vacuum hoses for any loose connections.

is the factory snorkle in place? like, is it clipped into the frame? a few guys on here have had a problem boosting, when it was the snorkel sucking up to the hood, and making a whistle noise, restricting air flow

 

but the whistle mnoise is coming from the turbo i poped the hood and listened and it came from the turbo i checked the scroll and it wasn;t that what could it be?
