WEll guys i called turbo trix cuz there are close. They said they will do the bottom end with eagle rods and ross pistons. and also having head work done because porting and polishing should make a difference. Since everything is out of the car except the block they said they would do everything and put it back in and set my timing correct of course for 4000 which i think is pretty sweet. I wish i could do it myself but so busy with work.

Where are you located at if TT is close to you?
One of my best friends runs a machine shop and does port work on the side.

Want to see his work go to my thread

I would do it myself but dont have time. I mean the car is in pieces now. The head is already off. so they said to just bring it down on the trailer and they will do all the motor work and it will be ready to drive out of there. SO idk what to do. Im located in bridgewater

That is a great price.

+1.... If you have to buy all the stuff anyway, why not go BIG, and you can get forged pistons and the whole nine yards. Big torque and HP gains.

Every cloud has a silver lining...

I was just going to offer a few solutions for you since you are on a budget but don't want to get into seeming like I am doing it just because TT offered.

You can shoot me a PM if you like.

something similar happened to me... except it didn't blow my motor right away, about 100 miles later.. cracked #4 cylindar and floated all the valves... so i got it repaired back to factory and sold it.. no sense on wasting more money on something thats just gonna blow up again... it may be different in your state, but in my state there aren't any companies who actually KNOW what their doing...
