Best Catch Can??? Such Thing?

Yah i did a search and there are a few choices out there, i was thinking of the Cusco oil catch can for myself. Can anyone confirm if this would be the smarter choice out of all the choices, or is something else recommended???

Who has anything bad to say about the Cusco???

And i am suppose to get the 9mm correct??

And is there really a Evo specific, i doubt it aren't they universal?

Weapon R makes a catch can that mounts on top of the factory strut brace. Looks nice and the price is good as well. Check that one out.

Weapon R catch can

Hands down the weapon R is the way to go!!!!

I have the Helix rectangle can.... I am so frustrated with it. The lines keepo getting pinched cuz you have to cram it in a corner and run lines all over the place and make you own bracket. I wish i had the option of the weapon R when I bought mine.

Get the Weapon R!!!!

Do as you please. It's just the best fit out there. Don't ask if you don't want the answer.

LOL, what???? ^^^

That is like saying that you would never put Michelin tires cus Subaru runs them in the WRC.

It is a frickin catch can?!?!? who cares who makes it. It is a piece of metal. Grind the name off and write HKS on it with a sharpie.

Don't spend to much money on it. Like people say Catch can is a catch can. I know people that made their own. $50 is the max I would ever pay for one.

If you're running the outlet hose of your catch can to your intake the best can will be one that has a baffled internal structure to condense the oil vapor before it can get into your intake. I believe the ARC piece has internal baffling, and a hefty price tag.

That said, I have a Cusco can which isn't baffled and you can see oil residue on the valve cover side hose, but none on the outlet side. I've had the can on over a year and there isn't enough oil to even come up the sight glass. My feeling is if you got one of the non-baffled "mini" catch cans, you're going to see oil on the outlet hose, but maybe someone who has one of those can chime in.

Edit:
Here's where I installed mine, but I have a Buschur open filter so this wouldn't work if you're running the stock airbox.

I have the cusco one. It looks really nice, however it was hard finding a place to mount it.

I use the same catch can and I connect it the same way you did.......

even after a few hard track driving......only the inlet hose is dirty.....not the outlet one. I wonder why is that too ????

valve covers dont vent as much oil saturated vapors. when i had one on my valve covers on the subie it took a while. when it was on the pcv side saw some actuall oil getting built up over time. baffled cans will stop oil better. used the greddy oval can, larger one ?15mm?.

you can use a napa gold g3(the clear one) fuel filter to catch oil...3 bucks. you'll know when its time to change.

trying to stick with a jdm theme how about getting rid of your usdm evo.
