I called the dealership, well you know the story. So I'm going to take my car in today and I'm sure I'll get raped for it. This sucks. The funny thing is, I think it might be the pressure plate. The clutch starts slipping around 3,800 rpm and stops at 4,100.

I can't afford a quality clutch right now so I'd love for Mitsu to cover this. I took my car in and took the tech for a ride but couldn't really produce the slippage, ain't that a *****? It slips all week and the second he gets in the car it stops. Well, it slipped a little for him. Anywho, I was thinking about buying the RMR clutch disc and swapping it in if that's the problem. Is it possibhle to change the disc by itself or do I have to switch the PP as well? I'm about to call them to check on the car, I told him he could have one of the techs try to recreate the problem for him.
Well, looks like they aren't going to cover it because I've got 13,000 miles on the car. This blows. I'm going to call MMA and raise hell. If that doesn't work I'll take it to another dealership and start all over again.
I have the ACT. Just put it in my brand new MR becuase I'm getting ready for the WR.
It's what RRE recommends. After break in, it rides pretty damn smoothly. Grabbier, but not annoying grabbier after 100 miles or so.

Mybada: Unless your rpms rise and fall when you get on it at a high gear without your car accelerating, you are not experiencing clutch slip due to wear ... remember you clutch needs to warm up a bit to grab ...

go with an ACT clutch
great quality and will hold more power then you think
trust me they underrate the torque the pressure plate can handle plus they modify the street disc as well
