Not exactly....take your car in....and have the problem documented even if it cannot be duplicated. Then if the problem gets worse you can use the "good faith" warranty to get it fixed.

i had the same grind over 4k rpm from third to fourth.
the dealership replace 3,4,5 syncros and 3,4 gears becausethey said that the gears were broke.
The car is better but i now can feel the gear grind slightly when i shift in all gears, i can't hear but i didn't know if that could be a clutch going bad or if that is just how mitsu cars shift.

If you read the manual it says that the sychros will grind, especially in 2nd gear before the fluids warm up ... a lot of guys have put BG synchroshift or Pennzoil sychromesh tranny fluid to get rid of their 2nd gear grinds, its worked for them ...

I have a grind at high rpm going into 5th gear as well. However, I doubt I will ever have anything done about it because I am too afraid Mitsu will F something else up while they are in there and my car will be worse than it is right now. All of my other gears are good to go.

got all my synchros replaced under warranty, pretty str8. not only that, but i had them install my ACT clutch costing me only 1 hour labor since most of the labor was being covered by the synchro job...ahhh what a scheme

I just started getting a grind in 5th....it's only when I am accelerating hard though. Do you think I should go to Mitsubishi right away? Or should I wait? Im going to have to get them to crush it on the highway to get them to duplicate it....what do you guys think??

Take it in to be documented......then wait for it to get worse before repairing it.
