Three choices. Drill out the remaining threads and tap with appropriate size tap (read not the same size), drill it out and heli-coil it or buy a new turbine housing. jk on the third one.

A helicoil is a thread repair kit which will allow you to use the stock bolt. It comes with a tap and a new insert that will thread into the existing bolt hole. When you buy the helicoil kit it will list a specific drill bit size that you will also need to buy.

First you drill out the old threads from the stripped hole with said drill bit. Then tap the hole with the tap provided in the kit. Next thread in the insert with the special tool that is provided and that's it. Reinstall turbo with new stock bolt.

it's going to be a big pain in the *** trying to drill that housing as the metal is very hard. I had to use multiple hardened drill bits. You need to start with a small drill bit and work your way up and also use some lube for the bit as it will get very hot very quick.

Are you talking about the stud that stick up from the turbine housing? If you stripped that, then that's easily replaceable. Just get a new stud.

Actually a 10.5 hotside would. The exhaust manifold bolts up to the hot side of the turbo, and the stripped hole you're talking about would be in that cover.

If you're looking to get away really cheap, I have my old 9.8 turbine housing from when I switched my car over to a 10.5 hotside.

Take the turbo off and into any good machine shop, they will fix it for $50 or so.
