I need to repaint my hood because of the rock chips all over the front. I was thinking this might be a good time to consider doing some stripes on the car possibly. Anyone have any pics of wide or thin stripes on an EVO? It would be nice to separate my red EVO from the rest of the red EVO's out there.

 

Don't ruin the car by doing that. I think it would look very hideous. Plus that's the 2nd best color for the Evo. (Wicked White being the best imo)

 

+1 on DO NOT DO IT!!!!! its gonna look like a rice burner.

 

Obviously neither of the two have seen it well done. A girl I know here had 2 wide racing stripes down here Evo 9, it looked gorgeous... She now has 3 Evos, all of them are wonderful machines. But if it costs more than just repainting the hood, it isn't worth it. Buy some cool looking wheels or something functional like that to seperate you from the other red Evos.

Screw what anyone else thinks, do what you want. That's what individuality and progression in the tuner scene is all about.

stripes might look good.

besides which the evo is sort of an ugly car to begin with, it needs all the help it can get. lets face it, it was designed by a bean counter not a design studio

 

Don't repaint stripes. Just get some at a graphics shop. I seen some pretty cool designs and its not permanent.

 

dont get stripes, but if you really want to do something different to the hood maybe paint it half black half whatever? just a suggestion
