Boost problems (AGAIN!!!) Could be wastegate?

Hey all just need some outside info on this one. I'm on the stock turbo (9.8 '02 turbo) and I recently did some installs that required I bend the wastegate bracket to clear the lower piping on the FMIC. Now I've got my MBC ALL THE WAY DOWN and I'm only boosting maybe 13 psi or so but it takes to about 5.5k to reach that much boost. I don't know wtf is going on and I think Its due to some issue with the wastegate, but since our stockers are internally gated I have NO clue how to resolve the issue...WTF?!?!?!?!?! Any help on this one would be ****. I'm also open to other suggestions as it may also be a problem with the MBC but i dont know what that would have to do with it.

What happens when you turn up the MBC? You still should be hitting 11-12psi at 3K with it all the way down. But if your wastegate is damaged I'd think you would be more likely to overboost than underboost as a result of it's malfunction. I'm not sure though.

Sounds like you bent the bracket and now the wg is open and/or binding.

^Agreed, any possible fixes for it that you guys can think of aside from just bending it back...or will that even do anything? Also does anyone know the part number so i can replace it if need be?

Try adjusting it first. This will tell you it's status.
